Vaughn Corbridge
Community Pastor
Hospitality & Security Leader

Vaughn Corbridge is a life-long believer in Jesus Christ. He has been involved in church life since his childhood. Because of his servant’s heart, the focus of his ministry came into focus in the ‘90’s when he first became a lead usher. Over the years, Vaughn has served in that role, as well as that of security lead and many other church front end ministries, touching as many lives as possible with the gospel and the love of Jesus.
Vaughn joined RVC in 2018 and quickly assumed the role of Hospitality and Security lead. He leads those teams with his passion for service. His goal is to be attentive to visitors and church family alike, showing them the love of Jesus through he and his teammates emphasis on caring for spiritual needs and being a friend to all the people whose lives they touch.
Another aspect of these teams is the support they provide to the pastoral staff, by maintaining all areas of the church facilities and services, preparing the church every Sunday morning, and preparing for special events. Vaughn is also serving as Secretary of the RVC Board of Directors.
Born and raised in Ridgecrest, Vaughn graduated from Burroughs High School and Cerro Coso Community College. After spending a few years in northern California, he returned home in 1985. Vaughn is newly retired after a nearly 40-year career as a government contractor, working as a technical illustrator, tech pubs lead and database developer aboard NAWS, China Lake.
Vaughn has been married to the love of his life, Sherry, since 1986. They are proud parents of three awesome adult children, two sons and a daughter. Vaughn is grandpa to 5 grandchildren who are the apple of his eye. He considers his family his greatest legacy.
