Twiggy Goodwin has a heart for service and a passion for community outreach. Over the years, she has actively served in various community events, including Relay for Life, Santa’s Art Shop, the Ridgecrest Health Fair, and the Parade of 1,000 Flags affecting the lives of the community may ways.
Currently serving as a Financial Manager, Twiggy finds joy in combining her professional skills with their passion for ministry and outreach. With a heart dedicated to service and a deep love for God and community, Twiggy continues to seek ways to make a meaningful impact here at RVC as well in the Ridgecrest community. Twiggy’s commitment to the Mission field has taken her on trips to Tecate, Mexico, where she has worked to improve shelters for traveling missionaries, built a kitchen to
feed local school children a nutritious breakfast and to spread hope and aid to those in need. While in Mexico she met with area kids to teach them about the Bible, sing songs and spend time assuring them that they are very important and valued.
Twiggy holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration and a bachelor’s in Applied Theology and Apostolic Leadership. Twiggy has also pursued studies to become a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). With 34 years of involvement in Al-Anon, she has been a source of support and encouragement for those in need. She is involved with Drug and Alcohol recovery and sustainability in the Ridgecrest community.
Twiggy is an honored mother of two adult daughters and a caring grandmother to three grandsons. In their free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, traveling, and building relationships through fellowship and involvement with others.
